Spencer Birthday "6"

Spencer learned about dinosaurs in school this past year. That is a good thing, seeing as how everything that Seth was interested in, Spencer was also. It was nice for a change. So for his birthday we did a Dino dig at the park. It was fun. It was also very windy and really cold for this time of year! The kids had fun digging in the dirt and "trying" not to go into the puddle. For Spencer's real birthday day, we were visiting family and went to the coolest Dino museum! It was a blast there. I think is was more fun because of having both grandparents there and also cousins to play with. After we had yellow cake yellow frosting and strawberries on top. That is the cake Spencer ordered. Who says his favorite color is not yellow still? Spencer is still just as spunky as ever. He loves to have fun. I love his smile.

Maggie is eating real food finally!

Maggie started to eat solid foods! We started her on rice cereal, she hated it. She hated oatmeal also. We combined them, she hated that, so we forced her to try it still everyday so she would hopefully learn to love it. She likes green beans the best then carrots almost the same. She likes squash, and sweet potatoes too. The peas are not a huge hit. They did smell weired to me too. Spencer was so cute everytime I feed her, he has to hide himself, he thinks that her food looks so gross it makes him sick he says. It makes me laugh that he says that.
So back to feeding her, after a month now, she likes the combo of rice cereal, oatmeal, and pears mixed. That is a good one! It is fun to feed her! I am a little wondering what to do about the milk and lactose allergy though. It seems that most food has something in it. We'll figure it out! Here is a picture of her first time eating real food! By the way, she slept through the night too! Yea!!!!!

Seth "10" birthday!

Seth had his 10th birthday a while ago, I just haven't had much time to put anything on! He had a lot of fun with his friends here! Seth is a great kid. He is very creative with building and we think also a budding engineer. He is fun to watch when he gets excited about stuff. I love to see how he plays and holds and talks to Maggie. She brings out the huge heart that he has.
