Before we went to Yellowstone, we stayed in Utah with friends and family. We forgot the camera a few times, so we forgot to take some pictures of places and people. It was sure fun though! When we first arrived in Utah Jesse and Evelyn were there at the Grandparents house for a visit, so we lucked out seeing them! Spencer sure loves to hang out with Evelyn. She is a cute little girl. We were sure glad they were there! We wished Kevin and Oliver were there too!
The main reason why we went at the time we did to Utah was for me to see some friends from high school that planned on being in Utah. I haven't seen them since before I left on a mission and others since our first year of college. It was great to meet their kids and spend some time with them. I look forward to seeing them again. Hopefully it is sooner than 14 years from now!
One great blessing though was my parents who live in Houston just happened to come to Utah the same time for some Church service missionary meetings! That was great to have them there too! Then another Sister-in-law came with her kids also! Ellie brought down all of her toe nail polish so we could give Maggie her first pedicure, the kids went golfing, mini golfing, we went with a lot of the cousins to UP, we went downtown to Temple square, went to the new Temple in Utah open house, went to the Temple, hiking and picnicking up Mill Creek Canyon, shopping, the Planetarium, the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point, played at lots of parks with family and friends, and hung out with everyone.
