Great time at the BYU vs Air Force Academy event. The game was good during the first quarter, afterwards Air Force jets flew away with the football (too many push ups by the cadets). We had great food at the Alumni tail gate party before the game, everyone called me sir, our kids got to sit in a training glider (provided they had an Air Force shirt over their BYU one), cousins and grandparents came from Utah, cousins from Colorado, and all were sunburned! After the game we found Todd L who I taught in seminary in KS - he is just back from a mission in Germany and is jumping out of airplanes a lot. Great to see him - just the same happy, bold, sharp kid we remembered. My favorite part of the day was seeing Todd. Second favorite was singing "God Bless America" at half time with the sold out crowd of 46,000 people.
